Privacy policy
Last updated 12 June 2026
This policy explains what information Docable ("we", "us") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website (docable.co) and our sales and support communications.
The short version
- Your Salesforce data is not our data. The Docable product runs entirely inside your Salesforce org. Your records, files and generated documents are not transmitted to, stored on, or processed by Docable infrastructure.
- We collect only what you send us — typically your name, email and message when you contact us.
- We don't sell personal information.
Information we collect
Information you give us
When you email us, request a demo or a plan, or ask for support, we receive the information you choose to include — usually your name, email address, company and the content of your message. Support messages may include screenshots you choose to share.
Website analytics
This website is a static site. If we use analytics, we prefer privacy-respecting, cookie-light measurement to understand aggregate page traffic, not to profile individuals.
Information the product does not collect
Docable is a managed package installed in your Salesforce org. Document generation — including merging data and rendering PDF output — executes on the Salesforce platform. The package makes no callouts to Docable or any third party, so your CRM data, templates and generated documents stay inside your org's trust boundary and under your org's security, sharing and retention policies.
How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and provide support
- To administer plans, evaluations and customer relationships
- To send product updates you've asked for — every email includes a way to opt out
- To operate, secure and improve this website
Sharing
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business (for example email hosting), under appropriate agreements, or where required by law.
Retention
We keep correspondence for as long as needed to manage our relationship with you and to meet legal obligations, then delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, email support@docable.co and we'll respond promptly.
